Wikipedia says this:
The E36 M3 GTR is the road-going version of the competition machine built to compete in the 1994 ADAC German GT Cup Touring Car series. Essentially a race car with license plates.
Give me all of the details: What kind of enhancements were made, other than the track width, roll cage and wing? How many were made? Any magazine tests of one exist? How many are left? And, what body part must I sell for one?

When you figure that last one out, let me know, this is probably my favorite M3.

Could be wrong, but I believe that was the only one made.

Wasn't the e36 M3 GTR a homologation car? If so, most certainly more than one were built.
EDIT: I found a forum reference to 450 being built so, if they are to be believed ...

What is an E36 M3 GTR?
The E36 M3 GTR is the road-going version of the competition machine built to compete in the 1994 ADAC German GT Cup Touring Car series. Essentially a race car with license plates, it features a stripped out interior and lightweight body panels (dropping the curb weight to 1300kg), fender flares to accommodate the 18-inch wheels and tires, adjustable front and rear spoilers, a full roll cage and a 300-hp version of the S50 B30 engine. Only two street-legal examples were built.
I'm gonna do some more looking into how.

GTs or GTRs?
I found nothing to answer why so few were needed, but suspect the GTs may have stood in to get parts homologated.
Another source states only 4 were built in total. 3 for race and 1 had license plates put on it.
